Darren's 30th Surprise Birthday Party!

I don't have a clue why this picture came through sideways. Sorry. It wasn't like that when I downloaded it and I tried twice....oh well. Darren's favorite cake is carrot cake so I had to search before I could find someone to make a big carrot cake and decorate it. It was delicious!

Another Baby Shower!

Last weekend, Joy and Jacinda held a wonderful shower for Darren and I. It was an awesome Brunch Baby Shower with lots of GREAT food, and wonderful games. It was tonz of fun and once again, this little boy of ours is getting spoiled! Jacinda made this AWESOME biplane made out of diapers! It's a masterpiece!

Thanksgiving Weekend

Here are a few pictures from Thanksgiving weekend. I didn't seem to have my camera ready for the good pictures but did get a few. It was great to see everyone. I spent a lot of time with my feet up since they swelled to the size of sausages :( Darren had a great time riding his dirtbike along with Brad, Marcus, Uncle Ron, and Dad at the ranch several days. Somehow, we seemed to finish off TWO batches of homemade ice cream. Compliments to the cook! And, we will never forget the ice cream war of 2008 :) A batch of ice cream was kidnapped by Marcus and Brad and in return....Brad will never want to eat Miracle Whip again. Can't wait til next year to do it all over again. Only this time....we will be a family of 3!

Nothing is better than a West Texas sunset! I happened to have my camera ready this time. No, that's not snow on the ground. Cotton harvest was just finished.

This is NOT what we were planning on coming home to. The roads were fine until we got stuck in our driveway. It took Darren an hour to dig us out. Made for a pretty late night.

Ice Cream WAR!

Baby shower 11-13-08

The wonderful girls at work gave me a great baby shower. It was tonz of fun and once again came home with some great loot :) And more cake :o) It's all about the cake.

32 weeks and counting!!!

I am 33 weeks today, but this picture was taken at 32 weeks. Not the best picture but the only one available right now :) I am feeling pretty good. Regular massages and chiropractor appointments have kept me feeling good :) I am definitely starting to have swelling in my hands and feet....a good excuse to go shoe shopping, right??? My last doctors' appointment went great, everything is looking good. I am down to every two week appointments now. Darren and I are starting to go through all of the baby's clothes and blankets and washing and folding them. It is so fun to look at all the wonderful things that everyone has given us. Time is flying by!

Baby Shower! 11-7-08

What a WONDERFUL baby shower we had! Everyone went to so much work and it was absolutely perfect! It was held at the Falcon High School so there was plenty of room for the tonz of people that showed up, the chili supper was wonderful, Mom and Dad came from Texas.... We couldn't have asked for more. I didn't get a ton of picutres on my camera because the battery died. Placental shunting is getting the best of me lately! I can't seem to remember much. But it was a wonderful time and one that both Darren and I will remember forever. Thanks to everyone that was there and all the work that was put into it. Awesome night!

29 weeks!!!

29 week 3D Ultrasound pictures - 10-23-08

We went in for my 3D ultrasound pictures! It went pretty good. The little guy was determined NOT to let us see his face. His hands were in front of his face for most of the time. We did get a face shot at the very end. We got LOTS of pictures of his cute little hands and feet! I can't believe how fast (and slow) the time is going. I only have about 10 weeks left!!!! I remember when I was ONLY 10 weeks along!

I can't believe that I am 26 weeks already! I'm feeling great...just a little slower :) It's so cool to be able to SEE him moving! Every day brings something new and exciting!

Wow! What a big day we had. We decided to get started on the baby's room. We had picked up our crib and dresser and were wanting to get the room painted. Once we got started we couldn't seem to stop and OF COURSE we got it all done in one day. The only thing left to do is to decorate. :) And wait.....
